โI made you some hot chocolate.โ He offered me the mug and I took a sip, the smooth rich liquid warming my insides.
โHow very rock star of you.โ
โI try.โ His gray eyes twinkled with laughter. โCome here.โ
I went to Rafe, and he eased the mug out of my hand, placing it on the ledge. His long fingers brushed my jaw, moving along my neck and into my hair as he tilted my face up to his. โIโve wanted to do this again all night.โ
My hands wound around his neck as he kissed me, his lips brushing over mine with a heated desperation I felt right down to my toes. We stumbled back as Rafeโs hand slipped to the small of my back pushing me closer as he pressed me against the wall.
โRafeโฆโ I panted and he broke the kiss.
โYou want me to stop?โ His eyes searched mine, his pupils blown with lust.
โN- no.โ
โThank fuck.โ He dived for me again, attacking my mouth with fervent need. One of his hands slid to my throat, stroking the skin there, his lips chasing his fingers. Sucking and biting, sending shocks of pleasure zinging through me.
โWhere have you been all my life?โ Rafe whispered into my neck, his words so low I wasnโt sure they were for me. But Iโd heard them. Like a gunshot to the heart theyโd impacted me.
It was crazy.
We didnโt know each other. We didnโt know any of the important stuff. But I was falling. Hurtling towards the ground hoping, praying, heโd be there to catch me.

What I love about Ms Cotton books is that with every story she is able to surprise me. Shock me. And take me on a rollercoaster of feelings.
Thatโs what Rush did. Took me on a ride full of music, amazing lyrics and hot bad boys.
Rafe was a bad boy with good heart. And that is a perfect combination. Add to this a crazy best friend and an amazing adventure awaits.
Rush did what it says. It rushed me through the story but in a really really good way. Amazing start to new series. Cannot wait for the next part.
